Machining works

Machining works is one of manufacturing processes to make raw materials such as blocks and bars meet required shapes and degrees of precision by using drills, end mills, turning tools or other machining instruments.
Machining works can roughly be categorized into turn cutting/lathe and milling.

Equipment such as the NC machine (machining center/NC lathe [turning machine]) is used to cut out resin blocks so that products of various shapes can be made.

Turn Cutting (Lathe)

Turn cutting/Lathe is a processing method of rotating a work (material) to shape its outside diameter, internal diameter, edge and face with a tool and other instruments.

Milling (machining process)

This is a processing method with using millers and machining centers that cuts out a fixed, not-rotating work (material) by rotating the end mill. By applying the NC program, it is possible to cut out even more complex shapes.
