MAGGUARD-SⅡ, the ferromagnetic material detector for MRI Safety, protects patients, hospital staff and MRI apparatus from MRI accidents by detecting ferromagnetic material. MAGGUARD is equipped with our in-house developed ultra-sensitive sensors to monitor and detect as small as paper clip sized ferromagnetic material and give alert before anyone goes into an MRI room.

Equipped with an ultra-sensitive magnetic sensor system capable of detecting even minute changes in magnetic fields

Equipped with an ultra-sensitive magnetic sensor system developed by Fujidenolo. Even in MRI inspection environments with high magnetic levels, stable detection is achieved from minute signal changes such as hairpins to large magnetic objects such as oxygen cylinders.

AI learning function cancels magnetic noise

MAGGUARD-SⅡ learns the magnetic environment around the device and patterns of such magnetic noise, and performs magnetic noise cancellation to reduce faults alarm while detecting ferromagnetic materials to prevent from bringing into an MRI room.

Unit location can easily be changed

It is difficult to predict the suitable place for FMD before MRI installation.
There may be residual magnetic field from MRI, but if the FMD is already built into a wall or at the periphery of MRI room door, may need to lower the sensitivity of the unit or have someone come and uninstall the unit to replace somewhere the residual magnetic field from the MRI does not affect much.
Because Magguard-SⅡ does not require installation work, it is designed to support those facilities easily change the location of the system.
The system will evaluate the magnetic environment and tell you the score (100 to 0, higher scored location is preferred to place the unit, 0 means the unit should not be placed at the location). You can move the system and find the most suitable and operatable location for better ferromagnetic material detection outcome all for MRI Safety.

MAGGUARD Dashboard application for operational convenience

The Dashboard application is developed to switch MAGGUARD’s detection modes (screening or gatekeeping) and to adjust the sensor sensitivity. Settings can be easily controlled to suit your preference.
